Arabic has 28 letters. Every letter connects to the next (except 6 “non-connectors”). Each letter has up to 4 forms depending on position in the word.

Key differences from Bengali:
- Written right to left (ডান থেকে বামে)
- No capital letters
- Short vowels (harakat) are often omitted in everyday text
Practice: Write each letter 5 times. Focus on the dots — they distinguish letters (ب، ت، ث are all the same base shape, just different dots).
